Intermediate->Advanced Class Synopsis:
This class assumes a working knowledge of basic Lightroom functions and is a hands-on workshop. Please bring your questions, laptop, power supply and some of your own images to import. Materials and sample images will be provided.
In this all-day class, you'll distill and enrich your images through the complete workflow process: from capture to cash (your print order!), with all critical steps covered. Witness the magic of Lightroom's live slider controls as you refine your images to total perfection. Learn how to "read" your images and determine which powerful Lightroom tools to use to create an optimum image that reflects what you saw and envisioned when you captured it. You'll also learn how to "shoot for Lightroom" on your jobs, guaranteeing great images to work with.
In addition to an overview of all Lightroom modules and workflow strategies, we will cover advanced import functions and features, keywording and metadata presets, Collection organization techniques including Smart Collections, Photo Book fundamentals, Mapping your images; improved Highlight and Shadow recovery tools; the spectacular White Balance brush (!), video editing support and adjustment tools and Facebook/Smugmug sharing features.
